Recent Work

I have added a few new sections, Art Pages 10, 11, 12, with 100 images each, all using painting techniques found in the education section, with elastomeric and Spray Paint. I have Found a few other highly useful techniques for editting artwork which will be added to the education htm soon as well as other painting methods. devicex.org.

Newest Work

Art Pages 4

Added a new Art Pages Section, the fourth of the series and have added a right frame with some graphic, i will add links on it later. Also i will be adding a 5th in the next couple of days using techniques from the education section involving spray paint and custom patch molding. devicex.org.

New Additions

Added links on the main page to Gid and another page of the works. Going to Add a devicex.org header image soon. Alot of work on the series has been editted today and yesterday and will probably make it to a high count of pages, as with one day of painting. I will add a “best of” section to the site soon and continue updating.

I have been out of paper for print. After ordering from epson, i will be taking pics of the final look and quality of the print/frame, and update the shop section. Due to the possibly unreasonable high cost of shipping for a 4 foot by 3 foot frame i will need to look in to the best and cheapest company to ship through.

Photoshop Technique

Picture taken with a Cybershot DSC-W300 while moving the camera around, causing a blurring effect. In Photoshop applied Contrast, Photo Filter, a plugin called Perfectum, and then smart sharpen. Produced an effect similar to the drawings posted below. See the education htm files for more information on art creation.

Elastomeric

Recently been doing a lot of work using different kinds of molding paste, named Elastomeric; Custom Patch. There is already an Education HTM on the subject of using these types of materials.

One Day of Painting #10

Ive been using 8×10″ Wooden Boards, Painted White. Acrylics and Water, and some Spray Paint/Water. I will be updating and adding new sections today (8/08/08). Adding Old Art (Pictures of Older Paintings, from Sony WSC-300 13MP)

Added Education HTM on Water and Light Technique, also another brand (highly useful) of Molding Paste.

I have just recently purchased an ‘XRite ColorMunki’ which is used to calibrate color between printers and monitors, and should be doing a large amount of work on the Shop section after producing exact replicas of the better work on devicex. Hopefully i will be able to eventually advertise and make money with selling print of the paintings from the latest One Day of Painting pages. Check the newest additions. devicex.org.
